SUNRISE SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST
(2025-26) School Year
NOTICE: The items on this list will be used during the regular school day.
They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis, otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.
Dear parents,
We are so excited for our new sixth graders to be here!!
More information will come, but we know that many of you will be wondering what school supplies your child will need next year. These are NOT required, and will be provided for your child if you are unable to send them!
For Students:
*3 Ring binder (1 1/2 inch)
*5 pocket folders with holes for binder to organize each subject. (Science, Writing, Language Arts, Math, and Social Studies)
*Spiral notebook for Math
*Spiral notebook for Writing
Class Wish List:
*Tissues!
*Clorox Wipes
*anything on the student list (for students who can’t bring them)
*small wrapped candy for incentives and fun in class
We will have many opportunities for field trips, science experiments, reward parties, and extra programs in the 6th grade. As you may know, many teachers spend their own money for class parties and supplies. We are trying to alleviate these costs as well. We are asking for a donation of $50.00 from each student to help cover these and other costs. Here is an approximate breakdown of our costs per child:

Year-End Awards and Activities $5
Science Experiments $8 (and visiting science programs)
Classroom supplies and class store $5
Total $50
Notice: All requests for donations are voluntary. Your child will be able to participate regardless of your ability to pay.
