4th Grade Supply
Hello!
Welcome to 4th grade! We are thrilled to be your teachers! We hope you had an amazing summer and are excited for a new school year.
Fourth grade is an exciting year for students, and the gains they make in learning are significant! Multiplication and division become more complex in fourth grade. Students will encounter 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication problems and solve long division. Please practice math facts before school begins to retain and strengthen that knowledge base. Students who struggle with recalling math facts will have a more difficult time solving those longer and more complex problems.
All necessary school supplies will be provided. Some extra supplies you may want (but are not required to have) are:
Personal Supplies:
● Black Fine-tip dry-erase markers
● Pencils
● Clearly labeled water bottle
Classroom Donation Supplies we would appreciate having at any time during the year:
● Tissues
● Bandaids
● Hand Sanitizer
● Clorox Disinfectant Wipes
Notice: The items on this list will be used during the regular school day. They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis. Otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.
The first day of school is Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Back-to-School Night will be held on Monday, August 18th. Please make sure your contact information is updated in PowerSchool and check the Sunrise Elementary webpage periodically. Fourth Grade is going to be a fun and exciting year! We are looking forward to getting to know you better and having a great year!
