1st Grade Supply

 

Sunrise First Grade Supply List
2025-26 School Year 

NOTICE: The items on this list will be used during the regular school day. They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis; otherwise, the school will furnish them.

We don’t require any school supplies, but here are a few things we have found very convenient to have throughout the year.

 

• Water bottles-We allow the kids to have a water bottle at school. IF it’s easy to drink from quickly, is 20 oz or less, has an easy access lid (preferably one that doesn’t have to fully screw all the way on and off), and is kid friendly. We have found with first graders that if we aren’t picky about what kind of water bottles they bring, they often become a hinderance and take away from instructional time.

• Fine-point black Expo markers -We use these throughout the entire year, and we go through them quickly. Donations anytime during the school year are greatly appreciated!

• All sizes of Ziplock baggies- We use these for many activities and for supplies throughout the year. We appreciate any sizes!

• Box of Tissues- We go through a lot of tissues and appreciate any donations now, and throughout the year.

• Other needs- Bandaids, Clorox Wipes, and sheet protectors are always appreciated. Throughout the year we will send "wish lists" if specific needs arise.

Please write your child’s name on all of their belongings, including water bottles!
