Sunrise Elementary’s 2025 Teacher of the Year didn’t always see herself as a teacher, but today, she’s known as one of the school’s brightest stars.

Raquel Jentzch’s third-grade dual-immersion Portuguese students recently built “wind-resistant” houses with their families. Jentzch praised their creativity, scientific exploration, and family connection.
